I forgot to mention with chapter 14 - Remnants chapter 68--the first scene--is relevant to the crossover/Larxene/Revenge sequence, so be sure to check it out!

Fun fact about this chapter! This chapter, or, the scene at the end of it ((Larxene vs the HB gang)) is the scene that made magik decide to make this sequence canon. Before this scene, it was nothing more than an.... actually incredibly elaborate AU that I'd been tossing around for myself, and LOVED TO DEATH but knew since it would inevitably end in Larxene's death and that was for MAGIK to decide and not ME I couldn't consider it canon.

But after this scene she was just like "Yeah. Let's do it." and I was REALLY really REALLY excited.

This is also my favorite chapter of the sequence.

So I went digging through my extra content document and found a FEW notes on ATR ch14. Considering ch14 and ch15 had roughly the same amount of comments (and I'd skipped ch14), I figured I'd just combine them.

I have to say I'm rather impressed with Gumi's new English voicebank. It's obviously nothing that will stand up to a human voice, but the tone of it fits well with this song.... ((Kaito's got a pretty nice cover, too.... whoa....))

ATR ch13 commentary

I wouldn't call this chapter my favorite chapter of the sequence but I do definitely love it a lot because of Reasons which I will get to in a few paragraphs.

Magik's side (this time from her Namine's POV) is over in Remnants ch67

She got all sappy about how she's happy to be a part of this and I can only happily reaffirm that I'm so glad we got to do this and while this isn't my favorite chapter for being a Great or Exciting part of the sequence or whatever, it does cover something really close to my heart, so....

I.... I'm always really embarrassed to admit how bad I've got it for RepliNami but GOSH if it wasn't my first KH ship it was definitely my first "I WILL SHIP THIS TIL I DIE" ship and ugh I'm

I don't want to ramble too much about this mix right here because I'm actually going to a break down of this mix in my next post (in fact, here is a link to the next post with me babbling) but to put it simply: RepliNami is probably my favorite ship and I'm so so so glad we got to develop it to this point in FtPverse---that they got a happy ending, even if it was not with each other, and there's really no bitterness left between them.

I'm glad FtPverse exists IF ONLY to have developed my favorite ship that far

Granted, I understand that currently this mix is more resolution than the chapter was, but I know that she says they've changed and moved on, and while his feelings haven't been touched yet, I know how Riku feels in response. She says it and he looks at her and he agrees without a moment's hesitation. "You're right. We're different now. I may still love you, and I may always love you, but I'm willing to let you go."

MERRY UPDATE (ATR ch12 - FINALLY)

Magik got settled down so updating is back on track!!!

GOSH I love this sequence so much I LOVE IT SO MUCH

Magik's side of this (from her Riku's aka Real Thing's POV) is over at Remnants chapter 63---and I have to say it was absolutely stellar this time and made me Feel Things. It's so good. This sequence is so good.

This mix is also so good:

It's a Gravity Falls mix for "Bill Cipher possessing Dipper Pines" and is literal perfection in it's ties with the themes and style of Gravity Falls---it's also not bad for this sequence, but most any "creepy" music can be considered good for this sequence

((Top songs from this mix for this sequence are definitely Bloody Shirt and Lose Your Soul, perhaps because they're creepy and upbeat at the same time which is good for this battle-which-isn't-exactly-a-battle. I also like those songs a lot. That cover of Get Lucky gave me chills tho
That in mind, if you want reading music for this chapter, I will suggest one of Bastille's "Other People's Heartaches" albums every time hands down without hesitation--I was jamming to Part 2 before I pulled up this playlist))


Before I forget: I wanted to say I watched the Coded movie the other day and it's really good, like, better than the Days movie a thousand times over (which is kinda sad because I certainly like Days as a game more than I like Coded, and Days the Movie deserved the same love they put into the Coded movie....)
I mean, the pacing of Castle Oblivion was kinda shit, but Data Roxas made up for it he always has

Also: I posted some FtPverse related oneshots that involved Ven and Aqua during this past week and made a post on it---the Aqua one features her being overleveled and superpowered and was actually a really fun oneshot to write, and you should probably check it out if you haven't already!!

HI WELCOME TO MY FAVORITE SEQUENCE (ATR ch11)

This is the Big Crossover Sequence I have been talking about for a bit, and I'm sure it's obvious why I'm so excited about it--if it isn't clear in this chapter, it certainly will be later.

Magik's side of this chapter (written from her Kairi's POV) can be found here, in Remnants ch61

Obviously, you don't have to read it to know what's going on, at least concerning my side and ATR's plot as a whole. Sure, you'll be missing some details (like about a certain nort), but those details are not relevant to ATR, they are relevant to her Remants.
We wrote it this way on purpose, so that readers who aren't fans of both our fics can get the Important Plot (and this is Very Important Plot) without having to entirely put up with a crossover

I mean, it's still a crossover, and that can't be changed. But, we don't have to redirect you to Can't Escape to read it and understand what's going on, and risk readers not understanding our own separate plots because they didn't read it.

I know I've already posted this playlist, but I'm posting it again because I was listening to it while editing this sequence (I wrote it before starting ATR, so I had to go back and check for continuity stuff) and it made me really emotional about Riku

I also want you to keep in mind that Riku is only 15, has only been alive for a little over a year, and is for all intents and purposes, still a child

I want that knowledge, along with the weight of his actions, to sink in.

Of course, I'm not saying what he's doing is okay. I'll be the last person to say that. But I think the fact that he's only 15 adds a little more gravity to this situation, and I want you to keep it in mind because I remembered that and it absolutely ruined me.

What is the point of writing fic if I only ruin my own emotions, and not those of my readers, too?

VEXEN’S MOTIVES ARE WIGGIN ME OUT like Riku wants to leave him there and I can’t decide if he’d want to stay there or not—it’s one thing to leave him there and then have him go “DANGIT RIKU YOU COULDN’T HAVE—sorry guys lol bye” and following after Riku

But if he sort of wants to stay because Xemnas is after me and he can’t get me here then…

Because I honestly bet since regaining his heart he hasn’t felt shame, at least not this strongly before. And he literally feels SO MUCH SHAME (well technically it's guilt not shame but) and feels SO AWFUL because he has made Riku feel exactly how he doesn’t want to feel. Xemnas spoke his name and Vexen suddenly felt like property and that is not a nice feeling and he hated it.

And yet he treated Riku in a way that made him feel the same

And he feels so ashamed and awful and disgusted with himself

IT’S LITERALLY SO PERFECT

Aaannyyyway on another note I did a thing?

I’ve started to do voice acting for some parts of my fic.

Idk why, I just started doing it with some Shad scenes, and… I’ve done a couple other ones since then (it'll be a bit before any of them can get posted because spoilers) 

and I’ve been wanting to do Riku and Vexen’s conversation in CO at the end there for a bit now… so I did!

Aah of course I voiced both parts. I think you can tell the difference between who’s speaking I mean, when it’s just two of them, every other line is a different person. (That and I think I made it possible to distinguish them but maybe I didn’t idk.)

I did do this in one take btw so it’s not perf or anything.

Notes:

1. Riku should be screaming. But I can’t get away with screaming because there’s no such thing as privacy in my house. Oh well
2. there are barking dogs in the background?? ??? (idk I think it picked up the dogs from outside but you can only hear it if there’s no other noise)
3. the ending stunk a little my bad

my lack of notes in general stems from only writing for half of this so I only have like liveblog notes for half of it obviously

Like magik mentioned we've been teeeeeeechnically planning this for two years (it's the whole reasons Can't Escape exists ha) 

whiiiiich in the long run meant a loooooooot of editing because there's a VERY BIG difference between what Riku acted like in the beginning of Dead Inside (the attitude he had when this was first written) and his attitude now.

I mean it's been two years real time, and five months in-story time. There's been. yeah. A lot of changes.

We also cut a lot of stuff…

Like there was more in depth discussions about what was going on but then we were basically recounting everything and I felt it'd probably be a little boring to readers, not to mention conversations don't always tend to work like that.

(The second chapter of this is actually a very very good example of what real conversations look like actually. I'm so proud.)

Also another interesting thought is that the Original Draft completely didn't talk about magik's universe. Ever. It all focused on mine. Whoops?

And I love all your positive reactions to ch174 (along with 175 and 176) and they're great to read I just don't know how to respond largely because. Idk. It'll either be awkward thank yous or reaffirming what you've said because FEELS.

Like a general overall thank you to all the things you've said because it makes me really really really happy that you guys enjoyed ch174 and such because those were my favorite favorite chapters and they were a lot of fun to write.

I don't remember when Vexen goes to see Ienzo, timeline-wise. But I believe It was before R. (If I'm right, R happens have the week gap but I don't remember)

OH WAIT! It doesn't matter, Vexen never met R. He and Alpha were arguing in the Computer Room at the time. (I wrote a little snippet of 7 going and talking to them and... yeah. I'd post it if it were finished. maybe I should just post it anyway because I have no clue if I'll try and finish it any time soon)

So, R might've been mentioned to him, but he never actually met her and... yeah. (That, and I think I wrote this portion of the Ienzo sequence before I wrote the sequence with R...)

As for Joseph lying about Toby... I have a snippet on this. Hold on. *hunts it down*

Vexen: Why did you lie to Ienzo?

Joseph: (frowns, confused) about what?

Vexen: About Toby

Joseph: Oh. *hisses in Vexen’s ear* was I really supposed to tell him that Saix just shoved Toby in a closet? I feel bad enough about the fact it told 29 and everyone else about it!

Vexen: You could’ve just said Saix spared him because he looked like Axel

It never made it in anywhere (it would've happened after Vexen and Joseph headed back to my universe and I didn't write that far) and I haven't gotten around to putting together the extra chapter for this... Like, it's Namine towards Repliku and she's like, y'know, "This isn't real. How can you not see that? I don't actually love you," and so she's singing this and she gets about halfway through the chorus and then, say, he really starts paying attention to her or an Organization member walks in so she quickly says "Never mind, don't listen to me, everything's alright. We'll be happy and perfect" and as she's saying it it's killing her on the inside

I've been neglecting this blog... sorry about that!
And take more apologies as to not writing/no updating at the moment. TAKE THEM!! *feels awful*

Anyway, I spent like, three to five hours in the car today, and I remembered sometime during then that I had this brief little brainstorm for ways I could include Oswald (the Lucky Rabbit) in my fic... I wrote it in a journal... I can't find the blasted thing anywhere

I mean, I haven't searched page by page through my journals yet, but... ugh

I'm sort of frustrated. But I'm also doing a million other things

I just, I remember having a conversation between Oswald and Mickey that went something like this:

Mickey: (thrilled) Oswald!
Oswald: (not-so-thrilled) Mickey.

I spent all of today NOWHERE near my computer, so... no writing's been done. But (I mentioned this on tumblr) I plan to take a small break from writing and try and drown myself in Repliku feels (and reread some of my fic) in hopes to get my muse back. Because it's kind of gone poof.

I know what I need to write, I just don't have the will to write it. And it's been like this for the past month. I think Vexen threw off my groove...

So, it didn't make it into the chapter, but I think Vexen thought somewhere something like "Pooler? Straightforward name, certainly, but not a name you'd typically give a Heartless" and then this thought crossed my mind:

Who named the Heartless?

Who named all of these things? I mean, Nobodies I get, there's like: ten varieties. But there are like fifty different variations of Heartless (and Unversed). Who named them?

Like, seriously, did Xehanort and co just sit around and name Heartless? (I'm sure Even would want some way to classify them all...). Just imagine!

Xehanort: Let's  call it a... Red Nocturne!
Even: Why....?
Xehanort: Because it sounds cool! And we'll call that one a Blue... Rhapsody. They can all have musical themed names! So, that one can be a Yellow... uh...
Ienzo: Lullaby?

Lol. Like Demyx, Vexen is said to be a not very good fighter. And yet he's on of the harder battles of the game... Haha.

Haha, this note to myself:
"Me? Write Vexen in a battle setting? ....nope, apparently I've never done that. Okay."
Lack of experience made this hard to write. This is probably my favorite chapter of the sequence (competing with the first one), but the Heartless battle was a pain. Especially since it's Vexen, and he analyzes everything...

And then this note:
"Trying to write a battle while listening to Hedley's 'I won't let you go' is also hard. Correction. Impossible. I'll sit and wait 'til the song is over..."

I've also gotten sick of writing battles. I like, want to bang my head against the wall every time one comes up... ugh... I have no clue how I'll get through the end of this fic--and the Xemnas battle! I cringe just thinking about that.
Can I take a pass on that one? Lol. Seriously. Anyone have any ideas how I can skip the Xemnas battle?

Which is something me and my friend (Gfrace) came up with. There's a Merlin game on facebook, and I was yelling at Merlin because he's like "You need to kill the enemies. Get some fighting experience!" and then proceeded to take out ALL the enemies with his level 500 thundaga before I could even get close enough to attack them.
It was ridiculous

And I must've said "I had it handled, Merlin!" because then Gfrace was like

"I could imagine Arthur saying that. If he knew about Merlin's magic and Merlin killed the monsters before he could get to them."

And then we joked that Merlin would get a monster off of Arthur before it killed him, and Arthur's like "I had it handled, Merlin!" even though he's about an inch from death and... idk

I'm surprised I remember all of this...

The original draft is half the length of this sequence. But said original draft will need A LOT of editing (I wrote it back... shortly after I started Dead Inside? While still working on Falling to Pieces? Ages ago). So... there's no telling just yet

Lol, Vexen. I went and looked up the original draft, so I could see what he said exactly in regards to wanting to strangle Larxene, and I come up with this:

"Agh, I really need to not go to bed when I have a rant sitting in the back of my head. I keep losing these darn things. I'm pretty positive I've come up with three different rants concerning Vexen's anger towards Larxene. Can I remember any of them? Nope!"

It's funny, Twilight Symphony's rendition of Lake Hylia (or is it the Fishing Hole? Rutela's Wish? One of those from Lanayru!) reminds me of Dire Dire Docks from Super Mario 64. This might be influenced by the fact that Kyle Landry plays piano for the Twilight Symphony, and he's done a Dire Dire Docks cover.

Lol, though, Joseph probably didn't need to do that equation in the air. He's 12. He should know off the top of his head that 15 divided by 3 is 5. But... whatever. I wanted to have him do something. And he could've been... checking himself...

According to my notes, I considered the idea of having Joseph pull a dictionary down from the shelf and have to sit down because it's so huge. Because there are dictionaries that exist that are flipping huge (we own one).

And then I went into something like, "Joseph's not much of a kid, so he'd actually probably be okay lifting a dictionary" and then from there I started talking about the fact that my characters are probably stronger than me... I mean, Joseph's three years (nearly four! alsdkfj) younger than me and shorter than me, but he's probably got more arm-strength. My seven-year-old sister does, for goodness sake!
I bet even Namine's stronger than me...

Oh, yes, that was a reference to how long Dead Inside is. Currently *checks* Dead Inside has 527 pages.

This idea actually came from a few chapters ago, after Joseph and Toby left magik's universe, Joseph mentions (mentioned?) something about it taking ages to explain everything that's going on in my universe to Ienzo, and Toby was like:

Toby: would it really have taken that long to explain?

Joseph: Probably. I know Ienzo – Zexion – whoever. They’re all the same, and they’re all really curious about detail. Do you how much detail is involved in what’s going on in our universe? If I were to write a book about what’s going on with the Rebellion alone, it would be over five hundred pages, okay? That’s how complicated this all is.

which actually started as Joseph saying this:

"Our Replica Program is sooo messed up right now. Like, if I were to write a book about all the technicalities, and exactly what happened and stuff, the book would probably be over five hundred pages. And that’s a lot of pages."

But I changed the quote when Toby asked... because it flowed better, I think. I don't remember.

Larxene Replicas actually do have a purpose. They're fighters. Like the Marluxia Replicas. And the Lexaeus Replicas. Vexen and Zexion Replicas are more... researchers.

Yes, if you hadn't caught it already (I believe I've mentioned it...) there are roughly 100 Replicas in my universe. There were about a hundred and twenty before all the Experiments died. (We're also down somewhere between 15-20 Larxenes, so we're closer to 80 Replicas...)

Though, funnily enough, even though Vexen says there's about 50 in CO and 50 in TWTNW, I actually only have... 15 IMPORTANT people listed in CO. And, in TWTNW, 6 important people (that's only counting L among the Larxenes, though. I know that all the Larxenes are either over there or dead.)

There are three listed Replicas who have aligned themselves with the Organization. I'm sure there's probably more than that, but...

AHAHA yes!! Sorry. I was just looking through my list of Replicas, and Vexen Replicas 25, 26, and 27 aren't in the same set. They're all three in separate sets. That is good. I should've, y'know, checked before I decided to use those numbers, because 26 is with the Org and the other day I put 25 with the Rebellion and 27 with Saix. That would've sucked if they'd been in the same set...

Anyway, that was a side tangent. I really need to get this list of Replicas up on the Blog. Maybe today. I'll do that today... OH WAIT! the colors don't look good with my blue background alskdfjd. Maybe I'll... make the blog layout not quite as dark. Side-tracked. Getting side-tracked.

Anyway, I just couldn't think of another word! Neophyte was the first to come to mind and... I just couldn't think of a suitable synonym. Still can't. Whoo.

Neophyte was one of my vocab words, back in eighth grade. I believe it means something along the lines of a newcomer to, say, an art or practice. I think. That's not enough to get a synonym from, though.

Ah, just looked it up (I was curious). It means: "A person who is new to a subject, skill, or belief." And the synonyms are utterly un-useful. So. Neophyte.

Fun fact about the word neophyte! Xehanort calls Ven one in BBS! It's in the flashback where Vanitas is created. Xehanort calls him a "feckless neophyte". Mmhmm.

Moving on.

I wrote A LOT of, not only this chapter, but this sequence as a whole, by letting Vexen rant and then coming back to the rant later and converting it from blocks of text to a story. The first chapter was written largely by doing that, and according to my notes, this chapter was too...

ALSO! I believe I forgot to mention the fact that I really enjoy the whole thing with Joseph lying to Ienzo and Ienzo noticing. I love it for some reason. Idk why exactly, but every bit of it makes me smile for some reason. Whatever.

There was supposed to be a bit in here where Ienzo was sarcastic, but Vexen started trying to analyze the sarcasm, and it was making my brain hurt. So I scrapped it. Very quickly.

Oh is this the Vexen Rambling chapter? Oh. Whoops. Well, there was a thing I said to magik, and it was like:

"Vexen rambles. Ienzo just smiles and nods and doesn't interrupt."

Something like that.

According to my notes, it started because, while writing this, I remembered another thing Goldpanner (that translator) mentioned. Apparently, Vexen rambles. A lot. (And it kind of creeps them out.)

Anyway, so I thought, in my head that: Ienzo has long paragraphs of well thought out observations and comments, while Vexen has long paragraphs of him rambling.

Yup.

What? What is this note doing here? This should've gone with the last chapter! Oh well... it's a bit obvious , anyway, so I'd only be repeating the fairly obvious had I mentioned it. Did that make sense?

Haha, my notes say:
"Well. I guess that’s good. Vexen just tried to say “dachst”. I’ve conditioned myself to not real cuss-words! Whoo! (it’s the equivalent of “damn” though. It’ll end up in my notafic; idk, Colin just started saying it. I have a feeling it’s actually Shadow Tongue, though… (though that foils my plans, because then bachharo is, and Shad would thus understand it when Colin calls him one. Dachst.))"

Not sure when this happened, but according to my notes, it did.

"Sometimes, I wish I could speak with Master Vex-" *pauses* "You can tell I spend my days surrounded by Replicas."

Anyway, a bit before that, though, Vexen says that--if he was told correctly--they needed full access to the Program to check Namine's data.

I don't think he was told correctly... because they were planning to look through Namine's Coding (data) with R's help.

But... I'm not sure if it's just they can look at Coding, but not edit it, or...

I suppose Riku and Namine didn't think it through, and 7 was just like "R can hack her way through anything. Forget all the things we're restricted from!"

haha, and then my notes are like: "dascht, he should’ve mentioned that! That’d definitely convince anyone in CO (minus a darkness high Riku) to agree to keeping her around. Oh well."

I said "dachst" a lot in these notes...

Yeah, I'm not sure if I mentioned this already, but apparently my Vexen didn't label failed Replicas, and he only labeled Replicas if they were successful or if there was a chance of fixing whatever was wrong with them.

Because, as Vexen mentioned, there's no chance he could've gotten the Replication process down on the first try. So. Considering I know of Vexen Replica number 1 (along with 2 and 3) he just didn't label failed Replicas.

Now, I ended up writing for Ienzo. A lot. I WAS going to push the conversation between him and Vexen on magik, but then they just WOULDN'T SHUT UP and so I had a million snippets from them for this conversation and it seemed pointless to make magik write it when I had a crapton of dialogue I could use.

The random lady that Vexen stops is just a random lady. If you feel like picturing her as someone important, feel free. It's not like it REALLY matters.

"Ack, Vexen! I don't want to drag out this conversation between you and Pi. Stop feeling all guilty for not talking to him longer!"

BY THE WAY! KH1.5 COMES OUT IN EXACTLY A MONTH! *can't wait to watch the Days cutscenes*

Sorry, that thought just came to me. actually, it was because I typed "ack!" which Roxas says a lot in Days

Now, skipping ahead a smidge in the chapter:
Ienzo pauses after Vexen mentions my Riku (Repliku). Wonder what's going through his head? lemme copy it from my notes
“his Riku Replica killed me when I was Nobody… do I tell him? I probably shouldn’t tell him. I don’t want to even imagine how he’d react. To tell him that his Riku Replica, which he appears to care a great deal about, killed me—no. That has bad idea written all over it.”

Oh, and look! somewhere shortly after this is where I took a break to write the R sequence! How do I remember? My notes say:

"Vexen got quiet when I came back to this..."

"Joseph is a lot more..."

"Hyper."

"I was going to say energetic..."

According to my notes, this conversation was hard to push through sometimes. "I knew what I wanted them to say, it was just actually... getting them to say it..."

I actually sort of remember that. Sort of. See how much you forget after a month or two? Sheesh. But, this sequence wouldn't have taken so long to write if I hadn't been having that problem...

"Joseph decided I missed you."

I love Joseph sometimes. Most of the time. He's a nice contrast to every other main character, who's usually angsting. 

Ienzo nearly said "Braig" there. It's similar to how Vexen kept calling Xemnas Xehanort. Or that stemmed from the fact that I have trouble calling Xigbar Xigbar now, and that "Braig" is usually the first thing to leave my mouth.

SPEAKING OF BRAIG!

I was so frustrated. I'm playing BBS as Ven, and I was like "RADIANT GARDEN! BRAIG!" and then I remembered that Braig's only in Terra's story of Radiant Garden... *sigh*

Anyway...

"Has he gone soft?"

That is, by the way, exactly what Ienzo thought towards Xigbar letting him go. Just in case you didn't catch that.

but, as my previous post stated, I was at a Renaissance Fair. It was cool. I got dragon wings (they were sort of expensive... *shifty glance*) along with a birthday present for my mom.
And, yes, we didn't stay all day, but... we kinda did everything, and none of us are used to walking a ton, so we were all aching after being there for at least... oh, geeze, it was only five hours. Oh well.

now... to the chapter! Which, indeed, magik wrote the beginning of and I wrote the end of. Lol.

"Shh! I'm telling a story!" I love that line of Joseph's.

Ooh, look, there's a... well, it's not a mistake. There's just... not a paragraph break where there probably should be. Not that it's a problem.
It's right after Joseph's "Unless, you'd rather just come with us...?". Ienzo's reply is just a line down, and there's not the usual break between the lines that fanfic normally puts. Yeah. Overexplained that.

Also, here's a random tidbit that it was either this chapter or the next that reminded me of it... I don't remember, but, Goldpanner (who's translated a lot of the KH novels and other such things) mentioned that they (she?) enjoyed translating for Roxas, because he had relatively simple thoughts. Zexion, however, had "long paragraphs filled with complicated kanji" and I just smiled because that is so like him.
(They also mentioned that Vexen rambles, which is also very true)

I guess I'll just go now. I should write. I'm just having trouble. Braig's-- I mean, Xigbar's suddenly a pain to write for. Ugh. I just feel like he should be saying more, but I can't think of anything to have him say and bleehhhsdfksklfj

but, I am also currently too lazy. Or, rather, I don't want to waste time looking up a video at the moment. I have a scene that I just need to look over one more time, and then I can start writing the Heckuva long raid. OH. MY. GOSH. This is exciting, kay? Be excited!

Now, as for the chapter...

Magik, actually, isn't right when she said she wrote all of this chapter. I wrote the beginning with Joseph waking Toby up. I believe. (I distinctly remember writing it, so I'm not sure why I'm suddenly doubting I did...).

Magik, however, did write the REST of the chapter. And... all but the end of the next chapter? That'd be funny if it is the way it turns out (and I think it does turn out like that...)

Anyway, so, originally, it was going to take Joseph FOREVER to get to magik's universe, and when he finally got there, he ended up on Destiny Islands and ran into Xion. (Why Xion? Because... in my head, the scene took place late at night, and Xion would've been up then, since she needs less sleep... at least I believe that's what my thought process was is it scary that I can remember that when I planned said scene two months ago?)

And then there was this huge rant about Vexen that was rather amusing that Joseph gave me. With luck, it'll end up in Dead Inside! Or most of it...

But, magik was like "Joseph's going to corridor straight into Ienzo's study, and Ienzo's going to be pissed" and I was like OKAY because it sounded like a much better/more interesting idea. Except she didn't write it that way. Oh well. It's fine the way it is.

Heheh, my notes say next:
"Whoops. Accidentally typed Xehanrot instead of Xehanort"

And then my notes... look like they talk about later chapters from there on... okay!

*reads through chapter to see if I can think of anything else*

Well, Toby's "You seem to know what you're doing" (to Joseph) reminds me of BBS, where Sora's like "I don't know, Riku. You say some pretty weird stuff sometimes" or whatever it is that he says
Idk why, exactly I'm reminded of that. It's just... how Toby says the line in my head

And... uh...

I guess... back to writing!

btw, I did a blog on the last chapter of this sequence, just in case you missed it or something or other...
