I wasn't sure what playlist to post, so have this VOCALOID song I can't get out of my head. Be warned of flashing images, though.
I have to say I'm rather impressed with Gumi's new English voicebank. It's obviously nothing that will stand up to a human voice, but the tone of it fits well with this song.... ((Kaito's got a pretty nice cover, too.... whoa....))
Anyway. I could link you to the tumblr tags for these chapters but combined I think they have 4 posts total, so, uh...... I won't.
Let's get to the commentary (and extra content)
Chapter 14
So apparently I had a thought for the Kairi/Namine convo where Kairi ended up reassuring Namine that some people just aren't meant for each other (I'm not sure why??) and as an example
Kairi was like: “take me and Roxas for example. He’s a great guy, but he’s also an ass—pardon my language. He’s a jerk. A big stubborn jerk and we’re both too stubborn for each other”
Though, along with that being irrelevant to the conversation, I'm fairly certain Kairi doesn't know Roxas well enough to be certain he's a jerk and she also wouldn't call herself stubborn, sooooo.....

Chapter 15
I shouldn't be laughing at Namine's "...had it been smart to leave him alone?" but here we are and here I am. Laughing.
For the record, Riku is probably taller than Vexen (but not by much more than a few inches, two tops)---they both slouch horribly, though. Riku probably always appears taller because Vexen's slouch is worse.
OHHH MY GOSH HANG ON HOLD THE PRESSES I'M SCREAMING I JUST FOUND THIS IN THE EXTRA DOC
“you could always drag Riku to the other universe against his will” 7 suggests
“I’d rather not!” and Vexen is angry to have that suggested to him
“well if it’s for his safety—”
“I will not resort to that until it’s life or death, 7,” Vexen’s even angrier now and his voice is stern “I will not make him go back to that universe unless I have to—and, seeing as it isn’t life or death and at the moment I don’t have to, well, clearly we’re going to go with the route where I translate his Code, even if it takes three months”
“I suppose I could always drag him over there…” 7 muses
“I doubt you would know how to work the computers—”
“aren’t there Vexen Replicas over there who would help?”
Vexen closes his mouth. Fumes.
7 smiles “well, then as soon as I’m done here—”
“You wouldn’t dare” Vexen interrupts, finally, and maybe he’s yelling “I- I won’t let you. Riku only returns to that universe by his choice.”
“I don’t think I need your permission…” 7 says, slowly
“I still won’t—”
“BUT I respect your opinion,” 7 continues, loudly, over Vexen. “Goodness, Vexen, if you’d only let me finish. I won’t drag Riku there against his will. Trust me, I understand. You don’t want to see him hurt by the phantoms that would plague him over there—you don’t want to see him hurt at all.”
Vexen flushes stammers
“W-well-”
“No need to explain yourself,” 7 interrupts “Like I said. I understand.”
Also this, this is important
“Namine you never did answer how you got hurt” Vexen says “WAIT A MINUTE you hurt plus being worried about Riku’s darkness he didn’t do it did he?”
“Vexen no of—”
“I mean he wouldn’t do it on purpose of course but an accident—”
“VEXEN IT WASN’T RIKU”
“oh good” Vexen sighs in relief “what, then?”
“a heartless” Namine lies
Neither of them believe her but both decide to be polite and not press
(7 can see the left over effects of electricity on her skin/in her data too so….. there’s that…… which I completely forgot about.....)
My favorite line from this chapter?
"I may have tried to kill her...?"
"And you didn't go THROUGH with it!?"
This also didn't make it in (for semi-obvious reasons)
There was also a comment about
“that’s Larxene??? wow she really let herself go”
“TRUST ME SHE’S LIKE 3000X MORE DEADLY”

but it wasn't flowing
And I'm not sure if we were worrying about Larxene tracking Riku down to HB but a thought for her finding out was:

This didn't happen for reasons that will become more obvious in the next chapter, but which I can sum up right now with Timing
