A general post about.... writing schedule???

Ok so I've said it like twenty times on my tumblr now but for anyone not also keeping up over there, a few things.

One: ATR has slowed down from updating every 5 days to every 10 days, largely to keep my buffer in place while I spend less time writing it (without dropping it entirely for some time and forcing another hiatus)

Two: I'm working on a Large Scale Undertale fic that will be in progress for the next few months, probably, and working on it and ATR on the same time is Hard, so that's the largest contributor to me not writing ATR in like, my every waking second.

Three: I'm not going to guilt myself for this. I'm very happy with my writing schedule / routine as it is now, I'm very happy with the freedom to allow myself to work on other things than ftpverse all the time. I love ftpverse, I will finish it, but it's been a long five years and I want to stretch myself in other places, ya feel? it's really refreshing to work on new things, too.

Four????

This is less a Important Thing and more, just. I accidentally discovered a new way of writing that involves serious editing (and sometimes rewriting) a chapter after I've finished it, which is, long and hard work. It yields really REALLY good results though and is probably for the best so you're not getting first-draft quality with each chapter, but, it does mean my slow chapter production rate has become even slower.

Not that it's a huge problem, becuase, I am so much more happier with these chapters I'm finishing, I'm just, tossing it out. There are a lot of reasons writing has been slow (and so uploading has been slow) and it's not solely rooted in Undertale.

BUT MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, I REALLY JUST, I really enjoy allowing myself the freedom to work on other things instead of devoting every hour of writing to ftpverse / ATR, SO, THAT'S COOL. That's cool.

Ok that's all I wanted to say bye.
