I'm sorry I haven't been updating this blog. Ever. Except for chapters. I kinda rant feels at tumblr now (most of my feels are short lived and serve better as short tumblr posts than semi-thought-out blog posts)

That and everything I want to say on this blog (more character and relationship stuff) just keeps getting put off because I really don't have the will to put up the effort to come up with that sort of thing.

If, ah, you're interested, nearly all my tumblr posts are tagged, and there are a few you can look at every now and then if you want

rar rants - me getting emotional over fictional characters which in most cases are characters from the fic (there are a few spoilers but most are labeled if you wanna avoid 'em)

I liveblogged me watching the Days movie!

And am currently... sort of... liveblogging my runthrough of KH1FM--as I play through it, of course...

and then of course all my characters have tags. Like every tag is "my -insert character name here-" (with the exception of Joseph and Shad and Toby since they're OCs. Oh and the replicas. They're tagged by their number/letter/whatever)

It’s funny because Yuffie’s often obnoxious and loud but she’s also a ninja soooooo

(they’re just like complete opposites but she is definitely a ninja)

That moment where I almost want to not be in Riku’s pov becaue Yuffie

I need to post this chapter from like her POV or Leon’s or someones because her sneaking out is the bestest ever especially since she scolds them alskdjfslkf

actually her POV doesn't cover that--though I will post it eventually because it is written

here's my brainstorm for this part of the chapter:

[Riku] just downs the hi-potion

Gets to his feet

Storms out of the house

Everyone downstairs is like huuuuhhh?? (they’re probs all eatin lunch together or something)

And Aerith hurries downstairs after him

“what was that about?” Cid probs asks

“I… don’t know…” Aerith responds

And then, silently, Yuffie just gets up and heads out after him

“Now, wait a--”

“Shh!” she scolds, and slips out the door

YEAH

Which, fun fact, I've been planning him and Hades talking to each other for a whiiiiiiile now. I'll have to put together an extra chapter covering all the things that I cut from this--or my original ideas anyway. SOMEONE REALLY NEEDS TO REMDIN ME TO UPLOAD THINGS TO ASAS I ALWAYS FORGET.

THERE you go Shad—I was wondering where his usual cunning personality was going to kick in. I mean he’s normally pretty cunning and plotting and idk why his initial reaction to seeing Hades was OH SHIT ALDKFJALKSFJSF PANIC

Then again he’s not used to people seeing him let alone thinking on his feet probably—he’s much better at thinking out a plot first and then carry it through which is 100% perfect because Sora’s not very  good at thinking on his feet and likes having things given to him straight and no inferring involved

And this is why Shad overreacts in Beasts Castle laksjflsdjf YES

No but really he panics initially because UHM PEOPLE SEEING ME UM ACCEPTING CONSEQUENCES UHM but then he gets to think it through a bit and he’s like OH YEAH THAT’LL WORK so he turns around and tells Hades this and yeah from there

Actually in the original stuff Hades' price was a lifetime of servitude from Shad but then I moved things around and....

also here have some of my template dialogue for this scene because it's funny:

I- shit. (Shad back pedals, brain spinning) I was- no. No, actually, I- (quickly dusts himself off and composes himself) I was looking for you. Yes. I was trying to get your attention.

Really? (Hades isn’t sure if he believes or no)

Yes. I, uh, wanted to ask you something

Me specifically, or any chump who stumbled on your noise-making?

You specifically. I’m, uh, I’m looking for someone. And I heard you might be able to help.

(Hades lights up because ooh a sucker I can swindle into selling me his soul—I mean a deal? Now we’re talking!) You want my help looking for someone? Well, that shouldn’t be hard to do!

Yeah? (Shad lights up a bit because thank the lucky stars I don’t have)

BACK TO RIKU

no Riku you can’t climb things—Aerith’d kill you—and you can’t fall again

I keep wanting to style HB like Radiant Garden from BBS which is fine and dandy I guess if I use a few elements—them being the same world and all—but I can’t take too much because HB’s had a layout change by KH2 because it fell into darkness and is being rebuilt

He was going to not check the rooftops because climbing but then I realized dark corridors. So I just decided to cut out the bit on him deciding not to check the rooftops for certain reasons, and just leave it alone

Riku why do you swear so much when you’re in pain???

Normal people are like “oh I got hit by thunder magic oh well shake it off maybe throw up a cure, shake it off and keep going” and then Riku’s just like “nOPE” and curls up into a fetal position

Riku’s collapsed a lot from being struck by lightning so of course everything I’m describing is nothing new but it’d be contradictory to everything if he didn’t at least stagger when getting struck

YUFFIE’S DOING ALL THIS COOL STUFF BUT YOU DON’T KNOW BECAUSE WE’RE IN RIKU’S POV AND HE MISSES IT ALL
