Okay so two things.

First:

You know that timeline I've been talking about? the OFFICIAL timeline for my fic-verse? Yeah, I meant to post it like last week, but it's a good thing I didn't, because, guess what? I kept finding kinks in it--along with things I'd left out--so I ended up having to tweak it. Twice.

Fun story about tweaking it! I ended up getting the whole Replica Program messed up because I forgot to factor in the fact R and 7 have a little "war" with the viruses she writes, and that takes around a year. At least, it certainly takes longer than time accounted for in the original draft of the timeline

So when I went to work it all out, I ended up coming up with a thousand other ideas and instead of trying to write them all down before I forgot them, I just recorded myself talking about them. I was really apprehensive about it at first, because I usually can't stand the sound of my own voice, but I ended up really enjoying it, and I'm really glad I did it!

I ended up getting about 45 minutes of me just talking about stuff and working stuff out orally, along with me doing imitations of my characters and I thought I said a lot of funny stuff. I'm thinking I'll gather the highlights and post 'em somewhere. I mean it's just my voice. What are you going to do with it?

(actually you could probably do a lot, lol, but whatever)

But, yeah, the timeline isn't finished. It took me like three hours afterward to transcribe everything I'd said, plus my throat hurts a little now (the shouting FALCOONNN PUNCH very repetitively last night can't have helped matters). But those were only the downsides. I actually had a lot of fun doing it, and I'm again really glad I did because being able to hear the tone of what was being said instead of just imagining me/various characters saying it in my head is pretty awesome

Though I did learn I say "y'know" a lot. I said it at least fifty times during those 45 minutes. And that's just the ones I wrote down in my transcription of the audio--I skipped over quite a few! Lol

But anyway, back to the timeline!

I still need to put everything I talked about today into timeline format, and then type it up and get it on my computer and colorcode it and recolorcode it for the blog. But I'll get it done eventually.

Second of all!

Do you know what today is? August 4th (nearing Aug 5th), which means THE FIC'S THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY IS ON FRIDAY??

WHOOOOAAA THAT SNUCK UP ON ME

Yeah however I don't have anything planned.

I did have a thought strike me just a few minutes ago! I was thinking, maybe, I'd make sure to get the OFFICIAL Timeline up by Friday, and then do a recording of me narrating it and explaining things about it and talking about it??

Idk I thought the idea sounded like fun. (Though I'd have to rest my voice because my throat is aching up a storm right now).

I mean I know once I get into, like, Dead Inside things will be a little boring, but I have a full ten years mapped out before the Truth Hurts even begins that I can talk about, and if it ends up going like my brainstorm session today, I think it'll be a lot of fun!

(Unfortunately, I won't be able to reproduce the highlight's from today's talking/brainstorm session, but I will be sure to post those regardless)

So, yeah! You can post your thoughts about this in the comments below, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it! I mean, my only other thoughts for the anniversary were to throw a "party" with my characters over on the fic's tumblr--which I might still do!--and, while that's cool, it's nothing compared to last year.

Though I wouldn't repeat the question thingies. I mean. Those took me ages to write! I mean, they were fun, but I really don't plan on doing them again. Except maaaayyybe for another REALLY special event, say, when I finish Dead Inside? Haha. xD

But anyway, I guess I'm doing that, and this post became less of a discussion and more of an announcement.

I'm gonna post the timeline either on the anniversary (or maybe a day before? Sometime this week for certain) and then I'll sit and talk about it for... like an hour or so and record it and post it.

I mean, you'll have to listen to me talk for an hour, haha! I'll split it into parts, how about that? I'm not sure how many parts, but I'll split it up, so you don't have to listen to the full hour or so in one go if you can't/don't want to. (I don't think my voice is that pleasing to listen to.)

So yeah!

Expect the pretty color-coded OFFICIAL Timeline for my fic-verse, along with me talking about it for a while on Friday!
