of a PAIN Vanitas is to fight

It's no wonder my brain spawned Shad while I was having my butt kicked by Vanitas.

He's just

ugh.

And rude.

Okay, I know this is pure coincidence, but I hate (and, admittedly, love) when this happens

Strike Raid is like, my most used command (as Ven, anyway... I know I can get it for Aqua and Terra, but I only remember using it as Ven. It's like how I used Drain Drive with Riku and not with Sora). And one of the phrases Ven says while performing it is "Gotcha!"

And, of course, Vanitas's response is to warp away from my Strike Raid, appear over my head, nearly kill me and reply in a mocking tone: "Gotcha."

*shakes head*

maybe I should have a similar thing happen between Sora and Shad. That'd be fun. They DO fight before... uhm... huh, they have to fight again sometime. Have to.

Also, here's food for thought

I am currently Ven, fighting Vanitas in the Badlands

The Badlands are the Keyblade Graveyard, just a different section of that world, right?

So... shouldn't Ven and Van fighting produce the X-blade?

Or is this because we aren't at equal strength?

And so we don't...

(Because, game-mechanic-wise, I am most certainly not strong enough to be fighting Vanitas. I'll have to go level grind some.)

We aren't TECHNICALLY in the Keyblade Graveyard. We're in the Badlands (which is on the same world as the Keyblade Graveyard, but...?).

Ven + Van + fighting in Keyblade Graveyard SHOULD = X-blade, right?
