I'm going to go visit my sister (magik) all the way across the country in a week, and there's a Namine appreciation thing coming up, and between wanting to get a Namine fic done for it, and needing to get prepared for my trip, and also needing to get stuff ready for the Anniversary, I'M GONNA,,, PUT OFF UPDATING FOR THIS WEEK!!!!
Just so!! you know!!!!

And, uh, since I got a review about it, a note about Shad's new name, Kano:
I'm pretty sure Kano doesn't mean flower (花 hana) or music (音on/ne). the Official Translation for Kano, 鹿野 is deer field, and, well, let me just say I obviously didn't choose this name for it's meaning.
UPDATES AT THE SPEED OF SOUND: 音 MEANS SOUND, NOT MUSIC,,,, it is used in the word music (音楽 ongaku) but 音 by itself just means sound. (Namine means sound of the waves, for an example, if you wanted one)
ANYWAY Kano was the name of a certain other character (from a vocaloid series/manga/anime) and I just really REALLY liked the sound of it (plus, the character reminded me of Shad) and it just kinda,,, stuck.
I looked through a ton of other Japanese names and tried to pick one on meaning but I didn't like the sound of.... any of them....
Also (cough) Kano is technically a surname (cough) not a first name, so, seeing it in a manga for a girl is probably completely legit, I just, shhhhhhhh
AND FUN TRANSLATION NOTE: THERE'S A GOOD POSSIBILITY THERE MIGHT BE ANOTHER KANO USING DIFFERENT KANJI THAT MEANS SOMETHING ELSE COMPLETELY, SINCE JAPANESE HAS A TON OF HOMOPHONES, BUUUUT THAT'S A PROBLEM FOR ANOTHER DAY
