(Chances of Book 4.5 and book 5 having no chapter titles are really really really high tbh)
I'm not sure if I mentioned my broken Wii here, but for like the past six months our Wii has done absolutely everything but play Wii games. We could load channels (like netflix and virtual console titles) and play gamecube games just fine, but no Wii games. :(
But the good news is I found a cheap replacement Wii (system only no chords or controllers or anything, not that it matter) for $35 on ebay. It came in the mail this morning and it works just fine--minus the fact that I can't transfer virtual console titles from my old Wii to the new one, but that's not the Wii's fault, that was Nintendo's decision.
Also fun fact if you change your Wii's language to Spanish you can play Zelda: Twilight Princess 100% in Spanish and I think that's really cool

Riku exchanges a glance with Namine, because they both expected that
“I’ll go get him,” Riku says, getting up
“But- but you don’t have to do that!!” Joseph says, quickly “I mean
he’ll find me eventually and- and I wouldn’t… want to…”
But everyone’s giving him a look because they are all responsible
adults here and they know better
“I’d rather not worry him too much,” Riku says. “You know how he gets.”
And Riku’s gone before Joseph can protest
So Joseph sulks

No I’m telling you it can work! (Joseph argues, poking the papers with his weapon design on it very furiously as if poking it alone will convince Cid)

29! (Joseph says, looking up, and he’s somewhere between excited and embarrassed and worried he’s in trouble idek)
(but yeah 29 and Riku just came out ofa dark corridor or they had been there and 29 was watching and?? Joseph finally noticed)
Oh (and Joseph’s face falls and sulking and) I’m sorry I didn’t tell you where I was going (he mutters) I just figured I could get back before… y’know… you got worried about me and… (he kinda just shrugs) I don’t know…
Well, next time, be sure to let me know where you’re heading, alright? (29 says) I don’t mind if you come here, I just want to make sure I haven’t lost you (there may or may not be a slight crack in his voice at the end there idk) Make sure you tell me next time, got it?

(29 smiles, pulls up a chair next to Joseph) so what are you working on, anyway?
Oh! (Joseph lights up immediately) y’know how you said if I got myself a weapon, I could learn how to fight? (he doesn’t give 29 time to answer) Well, Cid’s helping me work on a weapon design!
He’s not takin’ any of my advice, though (Cid protests, speaking over Joseph again)
He’s not? (29 asks, either surprised or feigning it) Joseph (partial scolding here) Why aren’t you taking Cid’s advice?
(Joseph pouts a little) He says it’s not gonna work…
Why is that? And, more importantly, what won’t work? (this is 29 I will clarify just so we don't get confused)
He wants a boomerang-dagger hybrid (Cid explains)
Technically, I wanted it to be able to transform into a shield, too (Joseph adds) but Cid said I could only make it do two things and we both agreed that a boomerang-shield hybrid is much much harder to make work
And how does the boomerang-dagger hybrid work? (29 again)
Look (Joseph points at his drawings) the boomerang should fold in half to form a dagger
Except I can’t think of anythin’ that’ll make it work like he wants it too (Cid explains)
Really? (now 29 is def surprised) Surely there’s some sort of… gear mechanism or something that would allow the boomerang to fold
It’s not getting’ it teh fold tha’s the problem (Cid says) It’s makin’ sure it doesn’t fold on acciden’. Yeh wouldn’t wan’it foldin’ up mid-flight, would’yeh?
That’s why you need a latch or something! (Joseph explains)
Yeh can’t mess with a latch in the middle of battle, though! (Cid protests)
AND I WAS HAVING FEELS BECAUSE 29 AND JOSEPH WERE DOING STUFF TOGETHER AND IDK FEELS. I just couldn't keep it because it was less important to the plot than the thing with Namine and Riku
not to mention I was in Riku's POV
And according to my notes it apparently felt really jarring to swap to them from Riku's POV or something along those lines. (I only said it felt jarring I didn't say why.)
I'll most likely turn this into a full scene and stick it into ASAS at some point because it doesn't look too hard to convert I just have to remember to do that. And I'm apparently really bad at remembering. I guess if you care a lot about it you should probably remind me? Just one ask on tumblr or comment on this blog should be enough tbh.

The thing I mean to
get across here is that there is rarely privacy in a house. You can shut your
door but that’ll only muffle so much sound. And with how downstairs is laid
out? All open space and no doors and hardly any walls? You have no privacy. Any conversation in one room can still be heard in
the next room.
And then I apparenty don't have any prewritten notes about Namine's little thing but maybe that's because this bit excites me a ton but it is a Super Huge Plotpoint that I can't discuss in detail because spoilers

BUT I WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT THE BIT WITH NAMINE EXCITES ME A WHOLE LOT BECAUSE I LOVE THIS PLOT POINT IN GENERAL I LOVE IT A LOT AND I AM VERY EXCITED
AND THE FACT THAT NAMINE DENIES SHE DREW IT AND THE POSSIBILITIES OF ANYTHING BAD HAPPENING IN THE FUTURE MAKE ME UPSET
