Hey look!

A video! I said I'd post one, didn't I?
Yes, I did.

Anyway, no particular reason why I chose this video, except that I've been a Days mood and this is RokuShi (with random SoKai in the middle! Whoo!) and... yeah... it was either this or a nostalgic KH1 video, which I will post eventually...

Now, Review Replies! which is the only reason why I'm here! (besides procrastinating on school, of course, but I'll do my History after dinner, since I always start my History somewhere between 7 and 8 pm. Then I have to worry about Chemistry...)

All from ch127 of Dead Inside.
Though, actually, I'm going to do this in a different format, considering you all brought up the same things and just gave different opinions on them
(except the like... two extra things that a few of you brought up...)

Q - I like Q, too. She is different, in a good way (as Cookie said), and there's a reason for that. I mean, if she wasn't different, then we wouldn't like her. Though, KKBeckett says she isn't sure what to feel about Q, and I think magik's said the same.

But, anyway, I'm glad that most of you like her, and it seems all of you DON'T hate her, which is what I was going for. I think. *suddenly isn't too sure about that*

I don't know, I may not have intended her to be liked, now that I think about it, it's just the way her character played out...

Q and Amaryllis - These two are, actually, not the only Larxene and Marluxia who are friends. There's also H and Bloodroot, who had their glorious one appearance in chapter 43 of Can't Escape and brief mention in chapter 93 of Dead Inside. There is, however, also R and Chrysanthemum, who will be introduced eventually in-story (R will be, at least; I have a feeling I will never write a scene with Chrysanthemum in it...)

Back to Q and Amaryllis.

Even though there's not much more to say about them...

Well, I guess I will tell you that from the beginning, or, from a point early on, I had always planned on leaving one Larxene Replica alive.
Yes, you heard me right, I'm not killing Q. But it's not because I like or anything and I went out of my way to keep her alive; it's because Riku never gets around to killing her and she's smart enough to spend the rest of her life away from him (unlike L, who's going to go and provoke him at every chance she gets, and only ends up surviving because 37 gets in the way)
Even in the original drafts - in which Q was a bit more like a typical Larxene - she ended up avoiding dying for the same reasons: reasons you'll see as soon as I get the next chapter up.

Hrm... that's really all I can think of to say, concerning Q and Amaryllis, at least. I mean, there's sort of more to their relationship... but that requires knowledge of a scene that I haven't finished writing yet, and I should wrap up this blog post so that I can do my history, and then my Chemistry, and then write...

However, I still have more things to talk about

Riku's darkness - even though only two, sorry, three people mentioned it.
(I think I remember wanting to do a post specifically to discuss this, but that was a while ago and I don't remember what I was planning on saying in it...)

Peach thought it was cool
And Cookie thought it was cool...
I wonder if you'll still think it's cool come next chapter =P

And KKBeckett wonders when "Riku's epic darkness combo powers" are going to be explained. In-story? Got no clue, but Namine might bring it up, and Riku will do his best to explain what he thinks is going on, and I'm sure Vexen will try and do some experiments... if he's not too busy with other things (which I doubt he is)

The out-of-story explanation is that this is all a side-effect of the getting super-infused with darkness a couple chapters back.
SPEAKING OF WHICH!
I have concept art for Riku's new dark mode that I need to post, because I went and redesigned it and all.

Okay, so, those were the main things that people brought up.

KKBeckett says she agrees with Flightfoot's "23's like a kid throwing a temper tantrum" statement, which I think I've already said I agreed to

Flightfoot, I love how you mentioned that everyone sort of forgets that they're supposed to be fighting and all. Thinking about it, it makes me laugh, too.
It also makes me glad I put them in a corner, so that they get a smaller amount of fighting to deal with and all...

Cookie, I'm glad the chapter split wasn't too bad. I'm sorry it took so long to get back into it, though. That's probably more my fault than it is yours.
That, or it's one of those things that is better read in one sitting. *shrug*

Okay, that's it.
I need to go do History now.

I think RokuShi is my favorite in-game pairing. Regardless on whether or not it is ACTUALLY canon. Days has a special place in my heart for whatever reason...
In other news, this is completely and totally random... but my roommate is playing Twilight Princess (I HAVE CONVERTED HER!!!) and I randomly was presented with the idea of writing a fanfic where Link's kid runs into Midna's kid. (I don't have any of the logistics figured out or ANYTHING...) But... I'm not sure if I should write it though... I've never been any good at writing my own fics...

I can't pick a favorite in-game pairing. I mean, I love ReplikuxNamine - just because Repliku's so adorable to her, but I love RokuShi too... and- and-
YES FOR CONVERSION!!!
If you have time to try and write it, I think you should give it a shot. Write the beginning, or a particular scene that's stuck in your head, and see where it goes. I'll gladly read it. It's certainly an interesting idea. (Though my inner LinkxMidna shipper is complaining, but it's not like they would've actually ended up together, given how the game ended...)
If you need a reason for Midna's kid to be out of the Twilight Realm/how they got to Hyrule, I have an idea, but I'll wait to see if you need the idea before I say it, on the off chance that I totally ruin what you have planned

Well... All I've got so far is Link's kid (don't know if it's a boy or a girl who's tomboyish) running into Midna's daughter somewhere outside of the Twilight Realm.
The implications obviously being that if Link's kid is a boy I'd end up shipping them, but if Link's got a daughter too, then they'd just be friends...
Hrm...

I can't help you there.

KKBeckett said...

You're no help! :P
Maybe I should write this... don't know where to start though...

Start with Midna's daughter ending up in Hyrule. Or, for the sake of seeing where you could take this, you could always start with them meeting.

KKBeckett said...

The problem is, I don't know how she'd end up in Hyrule. Though... I suppose she doesn't have to know just yet, which means I could take the time to figure it out.
Heheh, I imagine Link's daughter (I've decided it's a daughter) would feel stifled because Link would be overly protective.
Oh dear... this is important for character development... did Link end up with Zelda or Ilia? Because that would drastically change where his daughter grows up...

She could've always been banished to Hyrule for doing something wrong... though that may be more trouble than you want to deal with - but it could give you a plot, focusing on her trying to redeem herself. Just a suggestion.
Then again, Link might also be the cool dad who'd take her to explore a random cave of Hyrule. But, I could also see him as overprotective.
I'd say he ended up with Ilia, just because that seems more logical in the Twilight Princess universe. But you can do whatever.

Ilia makes more sense in my head too now that I think about it. Her growing up in Ordon seems to do more for my nonexistent plot than her growing up in Castletown. I'll think about what kind of dad Link ends up being.
*ponders many things*

Well, that's good that you have that figured out. I'm not sure if I can help you with the rest... unless discussing it helps you think. I'll be glad to discuss.

I shall pose discussion as it comes up!
