Cloud’s kept all
his messages from Tifa and replays them every once and a while just because he
wants to hear her voice
Cloud let Sora
sleep in so it’s like mid-morning if not nearly afternoon at this point
Sora’s actually
really good at telling time by the sun because if you think about it I doubt
he’s ever had a watch and he’d need to keep track of time somehow on the
islands like
Everyone’s got at
least one clock in your house and there are clocks all over the school but
there’s none on that play island
Yeah so he’s
better than most people at judging what time it is based on the position of the
sun
(most people can
only go “oh look it’s somewhere around noon”)
Shoot me for
bringing up the charm again?? I just??? I know it’s not like necessary to my
plot or anything fancy like that but it does tie this in with the ASAS chapter
and tho the timing isn’t 100% perfect it’s not harmful either so

Long sigh I had a
thought where Cloud mentions putting the Buster Sword somewhere in memorial for
Zack and he’s like “yeah somewhere in Radia- Hollow Bastion” because he starts
to call it Radiant Garden but it doesn’t go by that name anymore
(the thought of
him making a memorial (Aerith’d plant flowers lansflsjf hlgn) is great and all
and it may happen but I’m so sad I lost his slip up of nearly saying
Radiant Garden)
I MADE THE
WEAPONS VENDOR A WOMAN AND NOW SHE’S ALL. SASSY LIKE Cloud says “use brings up
wear tear and rust” and she’s just like “nuh-uh that’s brought ‘round by people who are too lazy to take proper
care of their swords. What good would a weapon be if you couldn’t use it
without destroying it immediately?”
NO YOU DON’T
UNDERSTAND THE SHOPKEEPER SAYS HE DOESN’T TAKE REFUNDS BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY SORA COULD
MAKE HIM TAKE THAT CHARM BACK
It’s not that he
doesn’t want it he just knows that the
charm belongs with Sora now because Sora’s the person more likely to get it
to Aqua
(granted Sora’s
not dumb and wouldn’t give it back anyway, but the shopkeeper wants to be 100%
sure)
The shopkeeper is
disappointed because he knows how badly Terra wants to be returned to Aqua and
the feeling he needed to give it to Sora was so strong he’d hoped that Sora was who it needed to be
returned to or that Sora’d find them soon because
Terra is so desperate that the shopkeeper felt
it even if he heard nothing
(that magic was
some good magic too)
(also he knows it
didn’t need to be returned to Sora because Sora says it isn’t lucky and seems a
little burdened with it and like if he was who it needed to go to then he
wouldn’t think of it like that he’d speak of it fondly or something THAT AND
THE SHOPKEEPER CAN PROBABLY STILL FEEL TERRA STRAINING IN THE CHARM )
IDK I JUST HAD
THE THOUGHT OF CLOUD USING IKE’S SWORD. From SSBB even tho Ike is from some
Fire Emblem game but yeah. That sword.
I feel like the
charm should tug on Aqua but she’s probably very distracted also idk about it’s
radius? I mean it managed to pull her all the way across Neverland
Maybe its’ the
amount of people. There’s hardly anyone in neverland so it’s not hard to
project thoughts. But with all these people around? It’s hard to focus on more
than one.
(tho omg if it
makes the crowd part for him yes good)
NO BUT IT IS
CAPABLE OF AFFECTING PEOPLE’S THOUGHTS even tho it’s only little nudges but.
It’s can’t be too hard for it to tell people to give Sora a wide berth like
they already see he’s running now they have to just have the curtouesy to not
get in his way
(also if it’s
busy with that that’s why it doesn’t get Aqua???)
I WILL HAVE AQUA'S SCENE UP SOON I SWEAR It'll be ASAS ch60 but it'll be a day or so before it's up okay

THAT THE LADY DID ON THIS CHARM IS ACTUALLY A LITTLE SCARY
Like I mean it can affect your thoughts so strongly that you want something that you don't actually want but someone else wants wow
And the fact the charm can tug on someone across a world and alter people's thoughts--multiple people's thoughts like wow okay just
This is some crazy magic
AND YES THERE WAS A WITCH LADY WHO CAST A SPELL ON THIS CHARM Idk if it'll come up in story or not like it'll be in passing by like book 5 if anything so
I love how my
brainstorm for this chapter just has the note “Cloud’s been tracked before”

THO I DOUBT LIKE. SEPHIROTH WAS TRACKING HIM IN THE TRADITIONAL SENSE OR
ANYTHING SO IT PROBABLY WASN’T HIM BUT. I LITERALLY DON’T THINK IT’S FARFETCHED
THAT HE’S BEEN TRACKED BY SOMETHING

was Hades. Cloud broke the deal and Hades sent Cerberus after him or something
(Hades did offer Shad a tracking dog didn’t he?
Or was that only in the original dialouge??? It was but here is the snippet of conversation)
“relieved” Sora says automatically
Because he’d much
rather be not wanted by Maleficent than “worthy” enough for her to use
(and Terra’d much
rather be unworthy for Xehanort than turned into a vessel)
And unfortunately
Cloud’s probably insulted because Xehanort thought he wasn’t good enough and
Zack died because of it. died for no reason.
(but he’s also
relieved because if hades doesn’t want him then no one else will get hurt or
killed for his sake)
