Anyway so this scene has been around for like. Two years. Since Falling to Pieces chapter 16 actually. Ha. Herhah.
(I was thoroughly convinced I could've gotten away with anything during that scene. bwAHAHAHA)

FUN FACT! I originally started calling it THAT because I was having a lot of feels after writing the Original Draft, and since the typing practice my computer class did at the beginning of class took me maybe two minutes, I had a lot of spare time, hence venting my thoughts into a blank word document
I was always paranoid someone would find it and think I was weird so I started calling it THAT. Because some reason. Then it stuck.

Yup.

You can actually owe a lot to this scene. This scene was the scene that made me make Namine's meltdowns a problem (though they'll still be something of one after this). This scene was the reason I had to bring Namine to CO.
And between those two things, Dead Inside started getting longer... and longer...

(Plus I had Riku's ALKSJFLJSF to deal with, though he's still technically a little alskjfslkjf but. Y'nkow.)

In the Original Draft, it was largely Riku’s memories (it was actually a recounting of the Truth Hurts BWAHAHAHAAH) and Namine was like lakjsf is that how you feel for me?

And that’s not even—not this time. This second kiss isn’t impulsive. This is Namine going “I frikken love you and words aren’t enough to you so I’m just going to kiss you.” and once she realizes what’s going on with the memories she forces these ones to the front

She’s showing him in every possible way how she feels for him

That she loves him

Because MEMORIES ARE A CHAIN so yeah ugh haha yeah now we’re into Things Riku Doesn’t Like Talking About. Namine you better figure out how to counteract that before this gets alskjdf
